Job summary
Mettle Ops is seeking an Electrical Technician to build, wire, test, and service electrical/electromechanical systems used in defense programs. The role collaborates with engineers to assemble prototypes, create test fixtures, install instrumentation, and support new product development from concept to production.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical assemblies, schematics, and test equipment, and understands HV safety and MIL standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or related field required or equivalent military/technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Assembly & Fabrication: Build, wire, and assemble electrical/electromechanical systems and control panels.
- Testing & Validation: Set up and operate electrical test equipment; document results.
- Engineering Support: Read schematics, assist with prototype development and ECOs.
- Manufacturing Support: Troubleshoot production issues and support start-up activities.
- Safety & Quality: Follow safety policies and maintain quality standards.
