Job summary

Daifuku North America in Hobart, IN is seeking an Electrical Technician to assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical and electromechanical systems used in material handling solutions. You will work from engineering drawings, ensure safe and high-quality builds, and support testing and validation activities.

Responsibilities include wiring, panel assembly, functional testing, and collaboration with project engineers to implement design improvements while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical/electromechanical assembly.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience wiring low-voltage control panels and electrical enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical equipment at the Daifuku facility.
• Install and route wiring, sensors, motors, and control panels per drawings.
• Perform testing, inspections and verify assembled equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electromechanical systems and identify root causes.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with project engineers and manufacturing teams on improvements.
