Job summary

Ardent Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, modify and maintain low, medium and high voltage circuits (35kV and below) in support of power generation, distribution and control systems. This on-site role requires strong leadership, safety discipline and hands-on expertise in cables, devices, and panels.

The candidate will mentor craft personnel, perform testing with voltmeters, megohmmeters and other tools, and uphold NEC/OSHA safety standards while coordinating with the

Qualifications

Experience installing and maintaining low, medium and high voltage circuits.
Must have valid TWIC card and be local to Geismar area.
Knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety practices a must.

Responsibilities

Install and modify electrical control systems to meet project needs.
Install and terminate single and multiple conductors and cables.
Install devices such as lights, transformers and panels; operate stop/start stations.
Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits; mentor apprentices and craft workers.
Lead job safety and ensure proper PPE; promote safe work practices.
Safely use meters and test equipment and operate hand/power tools.
Understand and teach sealing pours and related procedures.
