Job summary

Primetals Technologies USA in Warren, OH is hiring an Electrician to support our engineering and plant operations. You will repair, install, and maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related controls on plant machinery, and interpret wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background preferred.
Advanced knowledge of CNC machines preferred.
5+ years of experience with PLC, VFD, HMI.

Responsibilities

Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment.
Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit.
Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
Troubleshoots, repair and installs electronic and programmable Logic Controllers, circuitry, and PC boards into plant machinery.
