Job summary

Plastipak is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform intermediate-level maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical and electronic systems. You will support plant operations through configuration, programming, and optimization of electrical control systems, and diagnose root causes of malfunctions in automated systems.

You will work with PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and servo drives across multiple platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering/Electrical Technology or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
• Support plant operations and engineering through configuration, programming, and optimization of electrical control systems.
• Diagnose complex issues in automated systems and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and power distribution projects.
