Job summary

Energy Job Shop seeks I&E Technicians for Delaware Basin operations in Pecos TX, Orla TX and Carlsbad NM. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment in a field setting.

You will work a rotational schedule with company-paid housing during shifts, prioritizing safety and reliability. A 2+ year background in instrumentation and electrical systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in instrumentation, control and electrical systems (tech degree or license a plus).
• Experience with pressure, level, flow, 4-20 mA signals, Modbus, switches.
• Knowledge of PLCs, PID loop tuning, RTUs, IPCs.
• Understanding of power distribution, VFDs, motors, transformers.
• Troubleshooting with meters, transmitters, RTUs and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment in a field environment.
• Support Delaware Basin operations with a focus on safety and reliability.

I&E Technicians at WaterBridge play a vital role in supporting Delaware Basin operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment in a field environment. This position offers a unique rotational schedule and company-paid housing during working shifts. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and experienced in instrumentation and electrical systems.

What You’ll Need

• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience/training in instrumentation, control, and electrical systems (technical degree or license is a plus)
• Experience with pressure, level, flow, 4-20 mA signals, Modbus, switches
• Knowledge of PLCs, PID loop tuning, RTUs, IPC’s
• Understanding of power distribution, VFDs, motors, transformers
• Troubleshooting skills with meters, transmitters, RTUs, and PLCs
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
• Ability to work independently and maintain good relationships with coworkers
• Must live within 65-mile radius of Pecos TX or stay within that radius during working shift
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed
