Job summary

Westmor Industries in Hugo, MN is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform wiring, assembly and testing of electrical panels for vehicle chassis and related systems. You will read schematics, install conduits, and ensure quality while using a forklift and maintaining safety and compliance.

This role offers hourly pay starting at $22–$27 with benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match and spot bonuses.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Reading electrical measuring instruments and tape measure.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle system electronics.
• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot relay logic.

Responsibilities

• Wiring electrical panels consisting of relays, terminal blocks, fuses and solenoids.
• Installing completed electrical panels and assemblies on vehicle chassis and routing and terminating wires.
• Ensure equipment meets electrical assembly quality standards and that completed equipment functions properly.
• Test-run completed equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and all related paperwork.
• Fabricate and install rigid conduit lines.
• Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate.
• Other duties as assigned.
