AIM in Las Vegas is seeking an Electrical Technician Instructor to deliver classroom and hands-on lab instruction in electrical systems, safety, and industry practices. The role targets licensed electricians or technicians transitioning to teaching, with a 5-day instructor training program available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years hands-on electrical trade experience OR 3+ years teaching electrical or related programs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Teach electrical theory, wiring methods, and troubleshooting in classroom and lab settings.
• Deliver instruction aligned with industry standards, codes, and safety practices.
• Instruct students on proper use of tools and equipment with OSHA safety emphasis.
• Maintain engaging lessons and updated lab activities in coordination with leadership.
• Enter grades and track attendance and progress in school systems.
• Ensure classrooms and labs are organized, safe, and well-equipped.
