Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking an experienced electrical installer/technician to join our North America team. You will assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures, plan installations per drawings, and diagnose issues with precision.

The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and teamwork across projects. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electrical systems, be able to read schematics, and use meters and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Measure, cut and assemble cable tray and cable support systems.
• Plan new or modified installations per wiring drawings and schematics and knowledge of electrical architectures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment to locate and fix problems.
• Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers, motors, PLCs, fuses, relays or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Wear PPE and follow Bilfinger safety rules.
