Intertek, a leader in quality and safety solutions, seeks an Experienced Technician II to join the Electrical team in Cortland, New York. You will support engineering, perform routine testing, maintain equipment, and assist in preparing reports to ensure compliance with standards.

The role offers a base wage of $21–$25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a potential travel of up to 5%. Ideal candidates have strong safety awareness and 1.5 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1.5 years of directly related experience.
• Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply test methods and specifications for EUT.
• Read schematics and manufacturing instructions; locate required test instruments.
• Set up and operate standard test samples and equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Prepare project files and test reports.
