Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years electrical trade experience in institutional/industrial/commercial settings.
• Experience with lighting systems, including exterior, highbay, troffer retrofits, and related controls.
• Demolition and installation of medium voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Experience installing raceways and conductors for complete electrical installations.
• Electrical/controls installation experience is a plus.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and site access requirements.
• Apprenticeship is a plus; OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E are favorable.
• Willingness to travel to project locations for extended on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Foreperson and project management to identify and schedule material and equipment needs.
• Operate independently in laying out and installing lighting projects; may act as Material Manager.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, project specs, and submittals.
• Layout and install electrical and lighting systems in new constructions and retrofits.
• Lay out, fabricate, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and raceways.
• Install electrical controls systems, including wired and wireless solutions.
• Train Level 1 Technicians to improve installation knowledge and safety.
• Work well with others and follow directions; plan and allocate resources.
