Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled facilities technician to maintain critical electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in a data center environment. The role involves night shifts and collaboration with engineers and vendors to ensure uptime.

Applicants should have 4+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read technical diagrams; Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans, OEM manuals, and MOPs.
• Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for peak uptime.
• Oversee junior technicians and contractors in electrical duties.
• Install parts, test equipment, and perform preventive maintenance per safety guidelines.
• Monitor site BAS, power distribution, HVAC, generators, and UPS systems.
• Document activities in CMMS and generate reliability reports.
• Perform daily facility walk-throughs to track temperature, humidity, and alarms.
