Job summary

InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the service needs of its customers from the Fort Worth area. The technician will install and maintain AC Level 2 EV chargers, run conduit, wire, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure, while ensuring safety and timely field delivery.

You will travel regionally (25-50%), engage with clients professionally, and document work in Procore and Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years electrical construction in commercial/industrial settings.
  • OSHA 10 Card required or ability to obtain OSHA 10 within 120 days of hire.
  • Associate degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirable.
  • ASE or other applicable certifications are desirable.
  • CDL or ability to obtain is highly desirable.
  • Experience with EV charging systems and renewable energy is preferred.
  • Strong safety awareness and client-facing communication.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the service needs of its customers. The technician will work at the local branch InCharge Office, reporting to the Service Manager. Key aspects of the work include running conduit, wiring and installation, installation of AC level 2 EV chargers, diagnosing and repairing trouble with electrical infrastructure in addition to handling regularly scheduled maintenance of both electrical infrastructure and AC L2 EV charging systems. The role requires significant regional travel with a focus on ensuring a timely and customer-centered turnkey delivery experience. Key objectives include maintaining safety standards and timely completion of high-quality field installation work, AC L2 EVCS Commissioning and field support.

What You’ll Do
Electric/Infrastructure Duties
  • Basic understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations
  • Panel Work: Deenergized installing breakers, labeling circuits, and understanding load balancing
  • Identifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently short circuits for lighting and power distribution
  • Installation of emergency drivers, contactors, time clocks and troubleshoot EMS systems
  • Represent the company at client locations with the highest standards of professional conduct
  • Support multi-person work assignments and EPC-related field activities through hands‑on assistance with installation and maintenance tasks
  • Capable of performing these tasks under supervision of ET 3 or above
Specialty Equipment Maintenance and Service
  • Shadow and assist experienced technicians in the field to learn EV charging systems, workflows, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices in customer service delivery
  • Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting, testing, and maintaining EV charging systems as well as electrical infrastructure to ensure performance and uptime
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on AC chargers by identifying common issues and restoring functionality
Workflow and Documentation
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in Procore, Salesforce and other documentation systems
  • Follow all safety standards, site requirements, and company procedures
  • Participate in training programs to build technical competency and advance within the technician career path
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete work efficiently and effectively
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Your Experience and Capabilities
  • 1-3 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings
  • OSHA 10 Card required or ability to obtain OSHA 10 in 120 days of hire
  • Associate’s degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirable
  • ASE or other applicable certifications are desirable
  • Commercial Driver’s license or ability to obtain is highly desirable
  • Some EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit installation experience
  • Familiarity with smart panels, AC L2 EV chargers, and renewable energy systems
  • Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategy
  • Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Basic troubleshooting aptitude
  • Proficiency with Procore, or equivalent software a plus
  • Ability to Travel 25% - 50%

US Hourly Range: $31 USD - $37 USD
