Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Panel Shop in Duluth, GA. You will wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels that operate motors and compressors, following schematics and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities include wiring panels per layout, interpreting electrical diagrams, training new personnel, and working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Competitive benefits and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of wiring experience required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics required.
• Use power tools required.
• Use basic hand tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) required.

About the Role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician in our Panel Shop. You will be responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting the panels that control equipment such as motors, compressors.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
• Assist line specialist with training of new employees.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred

Experience:

• 2+ year of wiring experience - Required
• 4+ years of related experience
• Read and interpret electrical schematics - Required

• Use basic hand tools (Screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) - Required
