Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking an electrical maintenance technician for our food manufacturing plant in Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time role offers starting pay of $37.60/hour with an additional shift differential for {evening hours} and day-shift hours 6:00am–6:30pm.

Responsibilities include routine electrical repairs, diagnostics across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Arc Flash trained and able to read schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical repairs, installation, and adjustments on plant equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues and apply corrective actions.
• Support major electrical repairs and construction projects as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical cords, motors, and components.
• Use testing instruments and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and verify configurations.
