Job summary

Lindsay Corporation is seeking an Electronical Assembly Technician to assemble or modify electrical/electronic equipment, including panels, switches kits, motors, and hydraulic cylinders. The role involves testing equipment such as telemetering systems and electric motors, with emphasis on precision and safety.

Candidates must read tape measures and blueprints, be familiar with caliper gauges and computers, and use hand tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Knowledge of caliper gauges and computers.
• Familiarity with hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc).
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Position Summary:

A successful Electronical Assembly Technician will be able to assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as electrical panel, switches kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders and test equipment e.g. telemetering systems, electric motors, center drives.

Qualifications and Behaviors:

• Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints
• Must have knowledge of caliper gauges and computers
• Must be familiar with hand tools - drills, screwdrivers, etc
• Previous wiring experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet our customer needs.
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
• Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
