Job summary

Karman Industries is seeking an Electrical Technician to build, wire and test electrical systems on our clean-energy turbomachinery hardware. You will fabricate harnesses, assemble control panels, install sensors and instrumentation, and support testing of CO2 machinery and related equipment.

You will work closely with electrical, controls, and mechanical teams on-site in Signal Hill, CA, contributing to the stand-up of our electrical build and test capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with trade certificate or technical training in electronics/electrical work.
• 3+ years of electrical assembly, wiring or technician work in aerospace, energy, industrial controls or similar.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Skilled in soldering, crimping and terminating, and with common electrical test equipment.
• Careful, detail-oriented and committed to documentation and quality.
• Understanding of electrical safety practices for low- and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and install wire harnesses, cables, control panels and electrical enclosures to drawings and build travelers.
