Job summary

Daily duties include interpreting electrical diagrams, assembling components, and collaborating with departments to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Follow standard operating procedures and written and verbal orders in English.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Read a tape measure to verify dimensions.
• Read blueprints and shop orders to guide installation.

Responsibilities

• Learn to read and understand complex electrical schematic diagrams to diagnose problems.
• Learn the complete truck chassis electrical system and load management.
• Mount and wire equipment on the truck and run wiring harnesses throughout the body.
• Install lights, generator sets, intercom systems, and radio interfaces.
• Read blueprints and shop orders to plan tasks.
• Cross-train in departments and restock parts as needed.
