Job summary

Ferrara/KME, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking an assembler to fabricate wiring harnesses, assemble electrical and mechanical panels, and interpret engineering drawings. The role requires precision in measuring and assembling components for various fire apparatus and related systems.

The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs solo and 80 lbs with assistance, and work in indoor/outdoor environments. HS Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Must be able to accurately read tape measure.
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wiring harnesses and install components in various assemblies.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical panels, drives, motors and devices.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, cut, fit and assemble detail parts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and records.
