Job summary

Holland America-Princess (Holland America Dawson City Inn) is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems to keep operations safe and efficient. The role requires a Alaska state electrical license, 4 years of journeyman experience, and strong English communication.

The position offers up to $39.92 per hour DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package and a 7.5-hour workday across 12 months, under ESSA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of vocational/technical training or apprenticeship in electrical work.
• Valid Alaska State Electrical License.
• Four years journeyman-level experience in electrical work.
• English communication skills.
• Able to read blueprints, specifications and O&M manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and O&M manuals for field electrical work.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
