Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of Terex Corporation, seeks an experienced electrical assembler for ambulance electrical systems. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components, assemble harnesses and panels, and ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.

Candidates should have 2-5 years of manufacturing experience, understanding of 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry, and ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices including volt meters and test lights.
• Understanding relationship between voltage, current and resistance.
• Basic mathematics proficiency.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must have good knowledge of automotive electronics.

Responsibilities

• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
• Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of electrical components.
• Troubleshoot 12 V DC and 110 V AC circuitry and systems.
• Repair defects and report quality issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, orders, or reports.
