Job summary

GreenXT in Philadelphia is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) Engineering Team. The role covers operation, maintenance, and installation of DAS programs, with emphasis on pre-installation planning and coordination for upcoming components.

You will document and report findings, suggest improvements for abnormal conditions, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safe, reliable system performance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one before start.
• High school plus 3 years related experience or associate degree with 1 year related experience.
• Comfort working with electrical equipment including LV/MV switchboards, generators, transformers, and load centers.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, work aboard ships/shipyards, and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment or systems.
• Reviews schematics and engineering drawings.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data.
• Performs terminations, runs wiring and installs conduit.
• Performs calibration, alignment checks, and modifications as directed.

Electrical equipment handling

Low/Medium voltage experience

Wiring and installation

Education

HS + 3 years related experience

AA or 2-year technical degree
