Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, test, and quality assure 12V and 120V systems within projects. You will splice, solder, run wiring, and build enclosures while cross-training in various shop trades to meet Nomad specifications.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical knowledge, safety standards, and continuous improvement of processes. Candidates should have 1–5+ years in 12V/120V work and be capable of interpreting wiring diagrams and CAD

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of experience in 12V and 120V electrical experience.
• OR 1-2 years of experience in 12V and 120V electrical experience outside of Nomad GCS and secondary education certification specific to electrical.
• 1-5+ years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical circuitry.
• 1-5+ years of experience reading and following CAD.

Responsibilities

• Splice wires and solder connections to fixtures and equipment.
• Diagnose or repair problems with electrical equipment, such as lights, relays, battery isolators, generators sound, navigation, communication, security equipment, and leveling systems in motor vehicles.
• Run wires and cables for AC and DC systems, controls, and various electronic appliances.
• Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills, air saws, and multi-tools.
• Replace electrical or electronic components.
• Build wooden enclosures and carpeted wall panels to custom fit vehicle dimensions.
• Cross-train in areas including, but not limited to, flooring installation, plumbing, door, and window installation, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding, and I.T. integration.
• Perform additional duties as needed by Team Lead.
