ManpowerGroup in Texas seeks an Electrical Technician for the Industrial Manufacturing client to join the Maintenance team, focusing on electrical reliability and safety.

You will inspect, install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, read wiring diagrams, and work on motors, PLCs, and control panels. Strong commitment to safe isolation practices is essential; rotating 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shifts apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct electrician experience (union eligibility).
• Ability to pass Electrical Union Test on motors, controls, PLC.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and using electrical tools and testing instruments.
• Strong safety practices and circuit isolation in industrial settings.
• Willingness to work 4 on/4 off, 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, install, repair, adjust, calibrate, program, and wire electrical apparatus across voltages.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment using schematics and drawings.
• Install and replace motors and complete wiring for related systems.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and test components (relays, switches, transformers) and reassemble.
• Perform conduit installation, wire pulling, HV switchgear maintenance, and calibrate controllers.

Our client, Industrial Manufacturing, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting day-to-day production reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical troubleshooting mindset, a commitment to safety and proper isolation practices, and the drive to learn and advance through union testing and classification.

What's the Job?

• Inspect, install, repair, adjust, calibrate, program, and wire electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages in the plant or assigned area.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment, analyzing circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to restore proper operation.
• Install and replace electrical motors and complete wiring/unwiring work for motors and related electrical systems.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, and reassemble faulty electrical and electronic components (e.g., relays, control equipment, switches, starters, transformers, control panels) and test/adjust for correct operating characteristics.
• Perform electrical maintenance tasks including conduit installation, wire/cable pulling, splices and connector joints, high-voltage switchgear maintenance, and calibration/programming of integrated instruments and controllers.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 2 years of direct electrician experience to meet union contract eligibility requirements.
• Ability to pass an Electrical Union Test (Electrician Test) covering motors and controls, schematics/print reading, AC/DC theory and test instruments, PLC/automation, process controls and sensors, and installation/repair/power distribution.
• Hands-on experience reading wiring diagrams and drawings and using electrical/electronic tools and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Strong safety practices, including proper isolation of circuits and the ability to work safely in industrial environments (including work on “hot” lines as required).
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shifts (nights & days).
