Our client, Industrial Manufacturing, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting day-to-day production reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical troubleshooting mindset, a commitment to safety and proper isolation practices, and the drive to learn and advance through union testing and classification.

What's the Job?
- Inspect, install, repair, adjust, calibrate, program, and wire electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages in the plant or assigned area.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment, analyzing circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to restore proper operation.
- Install and replace electrical motors and complete wiring/unwiring work for motors and related electrical systems.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, and reassemble faulty electrical and electronic components (e.g., relays, control equipment, switches, starters, transformers, control panels) and test/adjust for correct operating characteristics.
- Perform electrical maintenance tasks including conduit installation, wire/cable pulling, splices and connector joints, high-voltage switchgear maintenance, and calibration/programming of integrated instruments and controllers.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 2 years of direct electrician experience to meet union contract eligibility requirements.
- Ability to pass an Electrical Union Test (Electrician Test) covering motors and controls, schematics/print reading, AC/DC theory and test instruments, PLC/automation, process controls and sensors, and installation/repair/power distribution.
- Hands-on experience reading wiring diagrams and drawings and using electrical/electronic tools and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Strong safety practices, including proper isolation of circuits and the ability to work safely in industrial environments (including work on “hot” lines as required).
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shifts (nights & days).
