Job Summary:
We are hiring Industrial Electrical Technicians to support, maintain, and improve production equipment in a lean manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
Upgrade, design, and install industrial electrical equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams
Follow and promote strong safety practices
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of industrial or military electrical maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting 480V motors and controls
2-year Electrical degree or 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
Familiarity with PLC systems, AC & DC motors, and drives
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, automation, and control systems
Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
Experience in steel mill electrical maintenance
Knowledge of drives, Level 1 devices, NFPA 70E standards
Maintenance experience with overhead cranes
Familiarity with electrical substations and equipment
Experience working with vendors and contractors
