Job summary

Donatech Corporation in Mojave, CA is seeking a skilled Electrical Harness Technician to install and wire terminal boards, fabricate harnesses, terminate connectors, and perform electrical modifications on military and FAA aircraft.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using test equipment, performing continuity and power-on checks, and possibly leading small teams under supervision. US citizenship is required; HS diploma or technical school preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience performing electronic/electrical modifications on military and FAA aircraft.
• HS Diploma and technical school graduation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire terminal boards and perform harness fabrication and installation.
• Terminate aircraft connectors and perform continuity checks.
• Conduct power-on and operational checks of systems.
• Install and troubleshoot aircraft electrical cables and harnesses with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical installation drawings; document red-line changes.
• Assist or lead small teams in harness installations and method documentation.

Job description

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship Required.

Perform the following tasks utilizing engineering drawings and work instructions:

• Install and wire terminal boards . Perform harness fabrication and installation onto various platforms.
• Terminate various types of aircraft connectors
• Perform continuity checks on wiring, connectors and aircraft components where required
• Perform power on checks and operational checks of the system
• Perform installation and troubleshooting of Aircraft (electrical) cables and harnesses on aircraft with minimum supervision
• Be qualified and proficient in the use of related test equipment for both "on aircraft” and in-shop testing of components and systems
• Ability to assist and/or act as team lead in electrical cable harness assembly installations; including modification and/or development of work instructions where required
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical installation and manufacturing engineering drawings, and familiar with documenting red line changes to the engineering drawings with minimum supervision
• Experienced in the use of all basic hand tools and electrical aircraft modification tools
• Ability to perform soldering and crimping
