Job summary

Apollopros seeks an Electrical Technician for 1st shift in Mojave, CA. You will install and wire terminal boards, fabricate harnesses, and terminate connectors on FAA aircraft according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

Requires a HS diploma plus technical school training, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must be able to assist as team lead and document redline changes; US citizenship is required for this government contract.

Qualifications

Electrical Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Mojave CA. Contract to Hire. Hours: 4/40 Hours: 5:30am - 3:34pm. Pay Rate: $28.99/Hr.

REQUIREMENTS:

HS Diploma and a graduate of a technical school (military and/or commercial) preferred. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing electronic and electrical modifications/installations on military and/or commercial FAA aircraft. Ability to assist and/or act as team lead in electrical cable harness assembly installations; including modification and/or development of work instructions where required. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical installation and manufacturing engineering drawings, and familiar with documenting red line changes to the engineering drawings with minimum supervision. Experienced in the use of all basic hand tools and electrical aircraft modification tools. Ability to perform soldering and crimping. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Electrical Technician - 1st Shift Perform the following tasks utilizing engineering drawings and work instructions:

• Install and wire terminal boards . Perform harness fabrication and installation onto various platforms.
• Terminate various types of aircraft connectors
• Perform continuity checks on wiring, connectors and aircraft components where required
• Perform power on checks and operational checks of the system
• Perform installation and troubleshooting of Aircraft (electrical) cables and harnesses on aircraft with minimum supervision
• Be qualified and proficient in the use of related test equipment for both “on aircraft” and in-shop testing of components and systems
