Job summary

DPC Services Forsyth, GA is seeking an Electrical Technician to support residential, commercial, and industrial electrical projects in the field. You will work with the Electrical Foreman to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems safely and efficiently, contributing to project success while mentoring apprentices as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints, adherence to NEC codes, safe work practices, and strong communication with crew and managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical field experience preferred.
• Experience with residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and outdoors as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Assist the Electrical Foreman with daily jobsite tasks and project execution.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Pull wire, install conduit, panels, fixtures, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with repairs in the field.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC codes and company standards.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles properly.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Communicate with foremen, project managers, and other team members regarding project progress.
• Assist with material handling, inventory, and jobsite preparation.
• Complete required paperwork, timekeeping, and documentation accurately.
• Mentor and assist apprentices or less experienced team members as needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and experienced in electrical work with the ability to work independently while supporting overall jobsite operations.

The pay range for this role is:
23 - 28 USD per hour(US)
