Job summary

LNS-America Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician to assemble, troubleshoot, install and service equipment at customer sites and in the plant.

You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly per orders, drawings, schematics and SOPs, while collaborating across departments to improve build processes and ensure high quality output. Occasional travel up to 20% is required to install and service machinery at customer facilities, applying field experience to continuously enhance assembly

Responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot, install and service LNS equipment at plant or customer sites.

• Troubleshoot machine tool accessories to resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Applications, Engineering and Quality to improve build processes.
• Travel occasionally to install and service equipment off-site.

Job description

Currently looking for an Electrical Technician. This position will assemble, troubleshoot, install and service LNS equipment in plant or at customer's facilities.

• Performs mechanical and electrical assembly of machines using manufacturing orders, drawings, schematics and SOPs as needed
• Troubleshoots machine tool accessories for quality issues
• Works with Operations, Applications, Engineering, and Quality personnel to improve machine build processes
• Focuses on high quality output of products
• Travels occasionally to install and service machine tool products off-site at customer facilities.
• Uses field experience to improve the assembly processes

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to perform machine tool installation and service as needed.
• Mechanical Aptitude needed
• Ability to read and understand schematics and apply to machine applications
• Electrical Troubleshooting skills
• Good Organizational Skills

Physical Demands

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally life and/or move up to 75 lb.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Occasional overnight travel

Position Requirements

• High School Degree and 2-year technical degree or certificate
• 3 years prior experience
• Valid Driver's license, auto insurance, and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
