Our client, a leader in steel production, is looking for exceptional Maintenance Technicians. If you are passionate about safety and skilled in maintaining electronic/electric equipment and industrial instrumentation, this role is for you. Position: Electrical Technician

Location: Charleston, WV

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (including bonus and profit sharing)

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel-making process
• Understand and apply electrical schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication systems, alignments, power transmission, pumps, and piping (mechanical techs)
• Knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, VFDs, motors, and controls (electrical techs)
• Train team members on new or modified equipment
• Build a strong safety culture through effective safety protocols, demonstrating integrity and ownership

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience
• Fundamental mechanical/electrical theory knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting systems
