Job summary

NTN Global is seeking a maintenance electrician to assist in production by maintaining CNC turning machinery, induction heat treat, and forging equipment. The role covers installing and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and performing preventive maintenance.

Starting wage is $27.50 per hour with 2nd shift $2 differential and 3rd shift $3 differential. Applicants should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent training and at least 5 years’

Qualifications

• A two year technical degree or equivalent hands-on training.
• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance electrician in manufacturing.
• Experience repairing CNC turning lines, forging presses, or induction heat-treating furnaces.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; good oral and written communication.
• Able to work overtime or on off shifts; strong safety focus.
• Experience with cooling towers, chillers, HVAC systems is a plus.
• Experience with PLC controlled and CNC operated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems from 24VDC to 480VAC.
• Repair and maintain CNC turning lines, forging presses, and induction heat-treat furnaces.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment.
• Work overtime or on off shifts as needed.

Job description

Assists in the production of quality parts by assisting with the maintenance and repair of CNC turning machinery, induction heat treat, and forging equipment.
Job Functions:

• Perform installations and repairs on the following
  - Electrical systems: 24vdc to 480vac.
  - Electronic Components and Systems such as, HMI's, PLC's, Sensors, Rectifiers, Drives,
  Encoders, etc.
  - Mechanical Components and Systems such as, Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings, Sprockets,
  Clutches, etc.
  - Hydraulic and Pneumatic Components such as, Cylinders, Valves, Filters, etc..
• The performance of predictive and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Starting Wage: $27.50

We offer a 2nd shift differential of $2.00 per hour and 3 rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour

Requirements

J ob Requirements & Education

• A two year technical degree or equivalent training attained through hands on work related work experience.
• A t least 5 years of previous experience working as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the repair and maintenance one or more of the following types of equipment: CNC turning lines, Forging presses, and or Induction heat-treating furnaces.
• De monstrates good oral and written communication skills with trades persons, supervisors, operators and trainers. Able to pass written tests for training.
• A bility to work overtime or on off shifts as needed.
• A strong focus on safety.
• P revious experience in the repair and maintenance of support equipment such as Cooling towers, Chillers, and H.V.A/C systems is a plus.
• P revious experience working with PLC controlled and or, CNC operated equipment.
• Th e ability to read, draft, and interpret electrical schematics.
• K nowledge of Lean Manufacturing or the Toyota Production System is a plus.
• E xperience with OSHA mandated industrial safety requirements; LOTO and NFPA 70e.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs. and stand the entire shift
• M ust have good communication skills
• M ust be able to work weekends; overtime based on business needs.
