• Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment for repair; tests circuits and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Uses blueprints, drawings, layouts and measuring devices to guide work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Candidate must hold an active secret clearance.
• Previous Military, USAF 7 Level or Equivalent (Journeymen)
• MOD Experience 2-4 Year
• Must know how to terminate route and build connectors/cannon plugs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment. Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit. Cuts wire and conduit to length. Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, lights, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords. Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair. Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring of shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency. Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Fighter experience is a plus

• Accredited Bachelor's Degree.
