Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Technical Specialist for its Tennessee Operations in Alcoa, TN. The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical systems, providing technical leadership to crafts, and resolving design and process problems to improve throughput.

The position supports maintenance with outage planning and implements small capital projects, while interfacing with multiple departments to address issues and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• 5 years of experience with industrial electrical systems and controls is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement of manufacturing methods.
• Work with craft employees in a union environment.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
• Assist in justification of new equipment.
• Interface with other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Adhere to EH&S, quality, and company policies.
• Provide 24/7 trouble-shift support as needed.
