Job summary

BLADE (HDT) in Cincinnati, OH is seeking Electrical Technicians for 1st shift to assemble electronic control panels, distribution panels, and enclosures using wire harnesses and switches. You will follow drawings and wiring diagrams.

The role requires 5+ years electrical experience, ability to read schematics, use hand and power tools, test equipment, and work overtime as needed. We offer comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of electrical systems experience, 7+ years preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, etc.
• Knowledge of phase coloring; ability to identify different gauges of wire.
• Experience with EMI connectors and building cables; knowledge of 24V AC/DC wiring.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework.
• Uses schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings to guide assembly and testing.
• Operates small power tools, other hand tools and testing equipment.
• Installs electrical components such as terminal blocks, controllers, transformers, wiring harnesses.
• Tests connections with ohmmeter for continuity and resistance.
• Completes panels with lights, gauges and labels per diagrams and instructions.
• Maintains quality and safety standards.
• Supports other projects as assigned.
