Job summary

LSI, Inc. seeks an Electrical Technician II to maintain and repair electrical systems on military training devices and related equipment.

This role requires safe handling of government-furnished equipment, ability to travel up to 25%, and a focus on quality and reliability. Responsibilities include wiring harness fabrication, interpretation of schematics, troubleshooting, and performing system verifications.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of electrical doctrines related to systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems theory.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and manufacturer data.
• Diagnostic troubleshooting skills for electrical power systems and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute work to optimize production and efficiency.
• Document tasks and provide status updates as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics and manufacturer data to remove/install components.
• Fabricate and install wire harnesses and cable assemblies, modify wiring as required.
• Overhaul/repair/modify electrical equipment using drawings and references.
• Remove/install components and wiring to support production; perform basic mechanical tasks as needed.
• Use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and specialized testing equipment for installation and repair.
• Use diagnostic equipment to test continuity, voltage, and system performance.
• Lead and guide lower-level electrical technicians.
• Travel to onsite locations for deliveries, modifications, and asset recoveries; handle government equipment.
• Safely handle government-furnished equipment and materials.
• Maintain a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
