Job summary

Design Tree is seeking an Electrical Team Leader with 10+ years of experience to guide our growing Electrical group in Minnesota. This full-time role combines technical leadership, client relationships, and project delivery across disciplines.

The position offers a competitive salary plus benefits, opportunities to mentor staff, and involvement in business development. PE licensure or ability to obtain Minnesota licensure is required, as are strong communication and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of experience in the field.
• 3+ years of formal team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain Minnesota licensure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own technical quality and QA/QC for the Electrical discipline.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members; support hiring and performance management.
• Forecast workload, plan staffing, assign resources, and coordinate capacity.
• Ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability across projects.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development efforts.
