Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. in Plant #3 seeks an Electrical Team Lead to oversee daily electrical integration, assembly support, testing, and FAT of power skids, E-Houses, switchgear, transformers, RMUs and control panels.

You will supervise Electrical Integrators and Test Technicians, ensuring work meets drawings, specs, quality, and company procedures. You will coordinate with engineers, production, quality, and project management, lead testing, review documentation, and mentor the team to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of industrial electrical assembly, integration, or testing experience.
• Two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using electrical test instruments and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical integration and testing activities.
• Assign work and provide technical directions to Electrical Integrators and Test Technicians.
• Coordinate installation, wiring, termination, labeling, and verification of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and customer specifications.
• Lead electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance, DLRO/ground continuity, hi-pot, functional testing, relay verification, control system verification, power-up, and FAT.
• Review and approve test documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, and wiring issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting onboarding.
• Promote and enforce safety policies including LOTO, PPE, and electrical safe work practices.
• Coordinate activities with Electrical Test Engineer, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Project Management.
• Maintain testing equipment and calibration requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and first-pass yield.
• Assist with scheduling, manpower planning, and meeting production deadlines.
• Support customer FATs and resolve technical questions.
