Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary education/formal technical training.
• Five or more years of related work experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
• Supervise installation and maintenance of electrical systems for campus buildings, equipment, fixtures and lighting.
• Perform on-the-job inspections to ensure work meets compliance standards.
• Maintain inventory to minimize downtime in production.
• Coordinate with campus engineers to ensure electrical blueprints are circled correctly and power is available at each location.
• Oversee time spent on each job and materials used.
• Participate in hiring, orientation, training, and performance evaluation of department team members.
• Verify payroll data and track vacation/annual leave.
• Provide guidance regarding installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Plan and schedule electrical projects.
