Job summary

Guernsey Electricity is seeking an Electrical Team Lead to supervise, plan works and mentor electricians, apprentices and subcontractors. The role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical projects with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will lead direct reports of electricians and apprentices, provide quotations for electrical works, and handle on-site installations, repairs and maintenance, including out-of-hours calls as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading electrical teams to deliver across projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and safety standards.
• Ability to mentor and develop tradespeople and apprentices.

The Team Lead will supervise, plan works and act as mentor to tradesmen, apprentices and other colleagues together with overseeing the work of sub-contractors. They will ensure works are carried out to a high standard, in a safe, efficient and effective manner providing a superior customer experience and a high degree of commercial focus.

To work towards taking on direct reports made up of electricians and apprentices.

To provide customer quotations for Electrical works.

The Team Lead will also carry out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance works of their own as well as undertaking out-of-hours emergency call-out duties as required.
