Job summary

Renu Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Team Lead to supervise and perform electrical installations for residential and commercial solar PV and storage projects. You will lead the field crew, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to codes while directing activities on site.

You will read diagrams, coordinate daily field work, manage tools and equipment, and mentor junior technicians. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to safe, efficient project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated electrical installation experience.
• Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams, specifications, and project requirements.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, construction practices, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to lead and coordinate crew members in the field.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work safely on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee electrical installation work from start to finish, following electrical diagrams, specifications, project requirements, and applicable electrical codes.
• Ensure electrical work is completed in accordance with company quality standards, electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and established safety procedures.
• Provide hands-on guidance, direction, and technical support to Electrical Technicians and other crew members in the field.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities, identify and address field issues, and help keep projects progressing according to scope and schedule.
• Ensure work vehicles, tools, equipment, materials, and inventory are properly maintained and available for field operations.
• Perform and oversee electrical upgrades, rooftop work, troubleshooting, commissioning, and other field installation activities as required.
• Support training, reinforce company procedures and best practices, and contribute to a positive, accountable, team-oriented work environment.

Position Summary

The Electrical Team Lead provides hands-on field leadership for the installation of residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage systems. This role directs the electrical crew in the field while actively performing electrical installation work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, electrical codes, and project requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Lead and direct the electrical crew during residential and commercial solar PV and energy storage installations, coordinating daily field activities to support safe and efficient project completion.
• Electrical Installation: Perform and oversee electrical installation work from start to finish, following electrical diagrams, specifications, project requirements, and applicable electrical codes.

Requirements

Required / Minimum

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working in the renewable energy industry
