Job summary

Sol-Ark in Allen, Texas seeks an Electrical Systems Test Engineer to own validation strategy, calibration, and production test systems within our fast-growing solar storage solutions business.

The ideal candidate will lead development of test stations, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and drive test data analysis to improve yield and product quality. Onsite role, competitive compensation, and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with power electronics, embedded systems, and analog/digital electronics.
• Proficiency with instrumentation, environmental testing, and calibration systems.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy for engineering validation, manufacturing, and calibration.
• Lead development of production and engineering test systems.
• Manage internal engineering resources and external vendors.
• Develop test requirements from product specifications.
• Own manufacturing test stations throughout their lifecycle.
• Define calibration methodologies and equipment.
• Lead engineering validation testing and qualification activities.
• Drive design-for-test (DFT) improvements with hardware and firmware teams.
• Specify instrumentation and automated test equipment.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or similar technologies.
• Analyze test data to improve product quality and manufacturing yield.
• Manage test equipment budgets, schedules, and project execution.
• Ensure documentation, traceability, and configuration management.
• Support factory test issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
