Job summary

Hexagon Purus Systems USA, a division of Hexagon Purus, is seeking an on-site Electrical Engineer or Technician at the Mesquite facility near Dallas, TX. The role bridges remote engineering, Dallas manufacturing, and procurement, focusing on drawings, changes, and hands-on problem solving.

You will work with Creo/Windchill, prepare ECRs, design simple harnesses, and help troubleshoot electrical systems during vehicle commissioning, with an emphasis on clear documentation and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering support
• Degree or practical experience in electrical engineering
• Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools (Creo/Windchill)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between remote Engineering and Dallas Operations
• Troubleshoot harness and electrical issues on vehicles and equipment and document changes
• Create and submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and update harness prints
• Support Procurement with technical questions on harness drawings
• Design simple wire harnesses and update routing documentation
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting during vehicle commissioning
• Update work instructions for harness building and routing in production
