Job summary

Hexagon Purus Systems USA seeks an on-site Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineering Technician at our Mesquite, TX facility. You will serve as the primary technical bridge between remote engineering teams, Dallas manufacturing, and procurement, focusing on drawing management, change implementation, and problem-solving with some hands-on work.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing or engineering support, an Electrical Engineering Technology credential, and familiarity with

Qualifications

1–3 years in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering support environments.
Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Working familiarity with CAD and PLM software: Creo, Windchill, or Creo Schematics.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical liaison between remote Engineering and Dallas Operations.
Troubleshoot harness and electrical issues on vehicles and equipment; update docs and processes.
Create and submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and update harness prints/schematics in Creo/Windchill.
Answer supplier-related harness questions and clarify technical specifications for Procurement.
Design simple wire harnesses and update low/high voltage routing documentation.
Assist with electrical troubleshooting and integration during vehicle commissioning.
Maintain clear work instructions for harness building, routing, and rework.
