Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Morristown, NJ office in the Electrical Systems group. You will support professional engineers, coordinate projects, and gain hands-on experience with engineering software and data collection.

The role requires pursuing a BS in Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, rising sophomore status, a 3.0 GPA, and US work authorization. Applicants should have MS Office and AutoCAD skills and strong time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering in an accredited program.
• Must be at least a rising Sophomore.
• 3.0 GPA requirement.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Here’s what you’ll need

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering in an accredited program
• Must be at least a rising Sophomore
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• 3.0 GPA
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills

• The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $62,400.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
