Job summary

Holtec is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer (BOP or NSSS) to provide technical leadership for site reliability and optimization of station systems. Responsibilities include system ownership, performance monitoring, and support during outages, with a focus on improving reliability and lifecycle planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, possible SRO/PE licenses, and experience in nuclear environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience at Engineer/Technical Specialist level.
• SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• System ownership and advocacy for deficiency resolution to enhance equipment reliability.
• Monitor performance, trending, and system walkdowns for assigned systems.
• Develop long-range life-cycle plans and assist prioritization of reliability activities.
• Assist with corrective action and work management to address deficiencies.
• Support troubleshooting and changes in system configuration and design.
• Participate in outage teams for online or refueling outages.
