Job summary

REEKON Tools is hiring an Electrical Systems & Automation Design Engineer to advance hardware development and factory automation tooling. You will lead production schematics and multi‑layer PCB layouts, while integrating analog, digital, and motor drive circuits for high‑reliability hardware.

You will design, simulate, and test with C/C++ firmware and Python scripts, and deploy automated test rigs to boost yield and throughput on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs and firmware bring-up for hardware products.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or KiCad for schematic capture and PCB layouts.
• Strong hands‑on debugging skills with bench instruments in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own production schematic and multi-layer PCB layouts (2–6+ layers) using Altium Designer or KiCad.
• Design low-noise analog front-ends, high-speed digital routing, motor drive circuits, and power management.
• Develop and test with firmware (C/C++) and Python scripts for line diagnostics and automation.
• Architect and deploy custom factory automation rigs, test fixtures, and line integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware on the shop floor and drive rapid fault isolation and resolution.
