Responsibilities

• Complete planning studies, including load flows, DG additions, capacitor/power factor, and load forecast.
• Perform system protection analysis and coordination to ensure protective devices operate correctly.
• Prepare construction and material specifications and modify standards for safe, reliable systems.
• Lead engineering and project management duties to construct/upgrade distribution, substation, and transmission facilities.
• Provide direction, training, and mentoring to other engineers as experience level allows.
• Stay informed of company policies and participate in safety meetings.
