Crawford Electric Supply in Laredo, TX is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to help contractors and customers select the right electrical products, price items accurately, and process orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will provide product information, estimate delivery dates, pull and load materials, and promote branch promotions while delivering friendly, reliable service.

The role requires good math, communication, and basic computer skills, with physical tasks including

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication required.
• Basic math skills including operations with various units.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Basic electrical product knowledge.
• Six months or more related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs by understanding products and catalogs.
• Use Eclipse program for pricing and order entry.
• Prepare cash or charge tickets with IDs and records.
• Estimate delivery date based on schedule.
• Pull and load customer materials.
• Handle difficult customers diplomatically; request management help as needed.
• Resolve order problems and complaints promptly.
• Describe or demonstrate products with samples or catalogs.
• Sell and promote branch promotions as directed.
