Job summary

Gaston Electrical Co., LLC in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Driver to manage the pick-up and delivery of electrical supplies and tools to jobsites. The role requires following directions from the warehouse staff and maintaining accurate records of shipments.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of warehouse delivery experience, a valid CDL or DOT-appropriate license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience is a plus, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse delivery or similar experience.
• Prior driving experience preferred, specifically 16’ or greater box trucks.
• Ability to obtain a DOT license and have a good driving record.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred; training available.
• Capable of lifting heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of electric supplies and tools preferred.
• Possess good organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Pick up electrical supplies from local distributors.
• Deliver electrical supplies and tools to jobsites using the most efficient route possible.
• Take direction on where to travel to and what to pick‑up from office staff, specifically the warehouse supervisor.
• Review and track all items picked up and delivered to verify accuracy.
• Assist in light warehouse duties and clean up of projects.
• Return to office/warehouse in a timely manner each day.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and perform routine maintenance.
• Abide by state laws and Gaston Driver policy.
